The Lincoln Park Zoo is usually a family-friendly spot, but the evening of Thursday, October 24th, it’s all about the grown-ups. The Adults Night Out: The Great Pumpkin Glow event is strictly for the 18-and-over crowd. For the attendees who are over 21, cash bars will be scattered throughout the zoo.

Head to the Lincoln Park Zoo at 6:30 to give yourself plenty of time to go exploring. Start by strolling along the Great Pumpkin Glow jack-o-lantern trail, which is located in the Children’s Zoo. Then see if you can navigate your way out of the massive corn maze on the South Lawn. Go for a spin on the Endangered Species Carousel (rides are free for the evening), grab a drink at one of the bars, and check out the special animal enrichment and educational activities. Of course, don’t forget to greet the critters who are out after hours—or to stop at the pumpkin patch on your way out! Tickets are $15.
